The day the car came home from Carters Garage Tamworth to the Loomberah property in 1921
It was used for driving lessons and play by the younger generation Lye family on the farm in the 1950's.
After restoration in the 1960's it was driven for 5 years around New England and the north coast of NSW by the present owner.

History of this Vehicle
1921 to 1963
Purchased from Carters Garage Tamworth by Lye family of Loomberah, near Tamworth, as the family car to get to town after a good wheat crop. Kept going after various accidents and layups and shedded on the property and in Tamworth for various periods. Resurrected and repaired by each new generation as a farm car and a vehicle on which the kids would use to learn to drive.
1964 - 2003
Purchased by the present owner in 1963 and restored in Tamworth instead of studying for the Leaving Certificate. Then driven while at University and going up the north coast for 5 years until it got too slow for everyday use. Keep in various garages until 2003.
2003 - 2day
The present owner commenced a total restoration in 2003 and is still going. Watch this space for more pictures and information.
